Komyo ReikiDo was developed & founded in Kyoto Japan by Japanese Buddhist Monk Inamoto Hyakuten (in Japan, the family name is first and the given name is second). This lineage of Reiki includes Mrs Yamaguchi, Hayashi Sensei and Usui Sensei.
This Reiki system is an extraordinarily simple practice to enhance spiritual development with profound effects that manifest with consistent daily practice. Komyo Reiki Do is based on the Japanese aesthetic of Less is More.
The practice motto is: Place your hands sacredly. Surrender & Smile. It’s simplicity allows for the wholehearted awakening and healing effect on mind, body & inner being. The goal of Komyo Reiki Do is Satori (enlightenment, pure awareness of Universal Peace). Komyo Reiki Do practice supports us in cultivating a happy and peaceful life and uplifts our spirituality in the ‘way of Reiki’.
Komyo Reiki Do invites us to truly release the hold and grasp of the ego and open to the grace of Universal Light and Oneness. The ‘I’ in this system of practice is the Universal I, becoming Reiki light. As Inamoto Sensei says, ‘to surrender is a simple practice and yet it is a most difficult practice.’ When we surrender to Reiki daily, subtle transformations occur in the cracks where light gets in, beyond our grasping of control. Komyo Reiki Do is a ‘way of healing’. A ‘way of peacefulness’.
